Privacy Policy
Effective date: 13 August 2026. This policy explains how Altair Systems Pvt Ltd, Ahmedabad, India, handles personal data on ClearFrame (cctvanalysis.com), in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). Our design principle is simple: we keep as close to nothing as possible, for as short a time as possible.
1. What we collect and why

2. Biometric data
Analysis involves detecting faces and computing temporary numerical representations to group appearances of the same person within your footage only. These exist transiently during processing, are never matched against any external database or other users’ footage, are never used to train models, and are destroyed with the job. Attribute outputs (gender, age group) are statistical estimates, labelled as such.
3. People captured by your cameras
For footage you upload, you are the data fiduciary for the people it depicts; we act as a data processor on your instructions. You confirm for every job that you own or are authorised to process the footage, and you are responsible for any notices or consents your use of CCTV requires.
4. Where data lives
Footage and reports are stored and processed on infrastructure located in India (Mumbai region) and on GPU processing nodes operated by us. The website itself is delivered via Vercel’s global CDN (static assets only — never your footage). All transfers use TLS encryption; storage uses infrastructure-level encryption at rest and time-limited signed URLs.
5. What we never do
- No selling or sharing of your data with advertisers or data brokers.
- No use of your footage or reports to train models.
- No cross-matching of people across different users’ footage.
- No third-party analytics or advertising cookies — we set only essential authentication cookies.
6. Your rights
You can access your data (your reports, while they exist), delete any job instantly (“Delete my data now”), and delete your account entirely. Because retention is measured in hours, most rights requests are satisfied by design. For anything else — access, correction, grievances — contact our Grievance Officer: grievance@cctvanalysis.com (Altair Systems Pvt Ltd, Ahmedabad, India). We respond within the timelines prescribed under the DPDP Act. You may also complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
7. Children
The Service is for users 18 and over. Reports may flag persons estimated to be minors solely as an attribute of your own footage.
